TEENAGER IN COURT FOR KILLING ANOTHER TEENAGER.
REPORTER: TSHEPO C MOLOTO: An 18-year-old teenager has appeared in the Galeshewe District Court, where he is facing a charge of murder. He is accused of having stabbed and killed a teenager of 16 years. On 29 April 2023, the accused was fighting with another person when he decided to go to his place of residence only to return with a knife. Upon his return, he found the victim standing at the gate and he stabbed the victim, who was certified dead at the hospital. The matter was reported to the police and the accused was arrested.
The matter has been postponed to 08 May 2023, for possible bail application, and the accused is remanded in custody until his next court appearance. The investigations led by the police are continuing in this matter.
