LIMPOPO POLICE LAUNCH MANHUT FOR HOUSE ROBBERY SUSPECTS WHO ALLEGEDLY ROBBED A FARMER

POLOKWANE : Naboomspruit Police in Waterberg District have Launched a manhunt after a farmer was allegedly envaded by unknown armed suspects who made off with a number of equipment.

It is alleged that on Saturday 22 April 2023 at about 00.00 the 39- year-old victim was asleep in his caravan when he heard dogs baking outside. Apparently the victim opened the caravan with a view to check as to what was happening, and was surprised by two unknown males suspects outside the caravan. One of the suspects allegedly pointed him with a pistol and took him outside the caravan before they tied him with wires.

It is alleged that the suspects then entered the caravan and took blankets and went on to take the following tools outside the caravan, spade, hammer, diesel and solar panels as well as other related tools.

The Police were alerted of the incident and immediately rushed to the scene and they commenced with Investigations.

Their iniatial investigation led them to the Municipality dumping site where the stolen items were recovered hidden.

The following items were found: generators, blankets, wheelbarrows, solar panels, spade, axe, hammer ,wire piller and IBR zink.

Suspects are unknown and no arrest has been effected so far.

The Acting Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Major General Jan Scheepers called upon Community members who might have any information that can help Police in tracking down the suspects to share information with Police. ” Community must rest be assured that such information will be treated with utmost confidentiality and remain unonymously” Concluded Major General Scheepers.
