POLICE HUNT FOR SUSPECT WHO ALLEGEDLY STONED HIS EX-GIRLFRIEND TO DEATH IN GIYANI
POLOKWANE: The South African Police Service in Giyani have launched a massive manhunt of a 34-year-old suspect who stoned his 23-year-old ex-girlfriend who is also his baby mom at Dzingidzingi village, on Saturday 08 April 2023 at around 03h00.
It is alleged, that the victim was with her friend coming from the local tarven going home, when they met her ex-boyfriend. It is alleged that the two had a confrontation before the suspect assault the victim with a stone. Her friend screamed for help and ran to close by households, when she return the victim was critically injured and unconscious. The suspect was nowhere to be found.
The victim was rushed to hospital where she later succumbed to the injuries. She was identified as Nokuthula Sithole aged 23 residing at Dzingidzingi village in Giyani , Mopàni District.
The Police were informed, and a case of murder was opened and manhunt was immediately activated.
Police calls on Ceaseman Dala Chauke aged 34 to avail himself at his nearest police station as it is believed he will assist the police with further investigation.
