POLOKWANE: The Provincial Organized Crime Unit of the South African Police Service in Limpopo arrested five suspects aged between 27 and 50 for allegedly tampering with electricity supply to Sefateng Chrome Mine in the Mecklenburg policing area outside Burgersfort. A group people calling themselves Mampa Community Forum have allegedly been throwing chains on the powerlines that supply electricity to the said Mine, thereby tripping power supply. This after they apparently could not have their demands met by the mine.
