UMHLANGA ACCIDENT TRUCK DRIVER APPEARS IN COURT
Truck driver, Sithulile Siyabonga Nhlanhlayethu Zulu (22), made his second appearance in the Durban Magistrates’ Court today. This is in connection with the multi-vehicle accident that occurred last week, on the M41 (eastbound) highway near Umhlanga.
Zulu is charged with reckless and negligent driving and failure to comply with the duties of a driver following an accident.
The state is opposed to bail and the matter was remanded to 23 March 2023, for a formal bail application.
