BOSASA FORMER COO ANGELO AGRIZZI FITNESS TO STAND TRIAL POSTPONED

The High Court of South Africa: Gauteng Division, Pretoria adjourned the two applications against BOSASA former COO Angelo Agrizzi. The inquiry was postponed indefinitely, largely due to the Judge David Makhoba ruling that the matter would require more time to be ventilated.

The two enquiries are based on section 67 (2) b and section 342A of the Criminal Procedure Act (CPA).

Agrizzi is charged with fraud and corruption in connection to the R1.8bn BOSASA and Department of Correctional Services 2004 – 2007 tenders. The determination of the inquiry will have a bearing on his case in Palm Ridge Specialised Commercial Crimes Court (R800K corruption matter).
