POLICE ARREST TWO MORE SUSPECTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE 2019 DOUBLE MURDERS OF MOGALAKWENA COUNCILORS
POLOKWANE: Two more suspects were this evening arrested for the 2019 double murders of two Councilors of the Mogalakwena Municipality, Valtyn Kekana and Ralph Kanyane in Mokopane in July of 2019.
The two suspects, aged 47 and 63, were arrested in Mokopane this evening, Monday 06 March 2023, following meticulous investigations conducted by a dedicated team that was assembled soon after the murders were committed on Tuesday 23July of 2019.
The latest arrests bring the total number of suspects to seven.
The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has commended the team for its relentless efforts and determination in pursuit of any information provided on the matter to make sure that all suspects who played a role in these murders are brought to book.
The suspects will appear in Mokopane magistrate court tomorrow on Tuesday 07 March 2023.
