Pretoria | Madjadji Primary School Scoops R800 000 worth State of the Art Kitchen at the 2022/ 23 National School Nutrition Programme (NSNP) Awards
Madjadji Primary School in Mopani East Education District has scooped the 2022/ 23 National School Nutrition Programme (NSNP) Award for Best Daily Meal for Kids.
Dr. Reginah Mhaule, the Deputy Minister of Basic Education, announced the NSNP winner today at the DBE Conference Centre in Pretoria. The school will receive a fully equipped kitchen worth R800 000, sponsored by the Tiger Brands Foundation.
The NSNP provides a daily nutritious meal to school children across South Africa. The daily meal helps the school children perform better in school. This is made possible by the hard work and dedication of officials in districts and schools. Madjadji Primary School outshined others and came out tops after the Department of Basic Education visited and evaluated all nine of the best schools nationally.
