POLICE INTENSIFY SEARCH FOR SUSPECTS WHO COMMITTED BUSINESS ROBBERY AT BOPEDI COMPLEX
POLOKWANE: The South African Police Service at Apel, in Sekhukhune District have launched a massive manhunt for a group of armed suspects, who allegedly blasted safes at Spar Bopedi Complex in Apel policing area.
On Thursday, 09 February at around 02:00 Police were alerted about the incident in which an ATM blasted and they swiftly responded. While on the lookout for the suspects, they met the vehicles fitting the description of one used by the suspets. Apparently the suspects opened fire at the direction of Police . The , Police retaliated however the suspets managed to evade the arrest driving in two Polo Sedans, one silver and the other blue in colour. The Police further found a white C-Clas Mercedes Benz. Silver Audi A4 with false registration was also found aboundoned at the scene, and in the process one pistol and some of the stolen suspected stolen grocery were recovered..
