ANC STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF DAILY SUN NEWSPAPER PHOTO-JOURNALIST,
CHRIS MOAGI
The African National Congress mourns the untimely passing of DAILY SUN Newspaper,
photo-journalist, Chris Moagi, following a short illness. Moagi’s presence was noticeable through his push to get to the front row during ANC’s National
Executive Committee meetings photo opportunities commonly referred to as photo op. The media fraternity is poorer without the young and brilliant journalist who told stories through the
lens and also as an all round reporter. The African National Congress extends sincere condolences to Moagi’s family, friends and colleagues
in the entire media industry. May they find solace in knowing that their loss is shared by the entire
nation.
