LIMPOPO ANC PGC AFIRMS RAMAPHOSA FOR THE PARTY’S PRESIDENCY.

The delegates who were attending the recently held Limpopo ANC special Provincial General Council have demonstrated overwhelming support to Cyril Ramaphosa who will be contesting to retain the party’s presidency position. Pro-Ramaphosa songs and the signalling of second term dominated the proceedings for the day in a meeting held at Bolivia Lodge in Polokwane.

Giving his opening remarks ANC Provincial Chairperson Chupu Stan Mathabatha urged delegates to fully participate in the PGC ahead of the Nasrec elective conference. Mathabatha who has received the majority nominations by branches across the country will be contesting for the position of chairperson, challenging the current chairperson Gwede Mantashe. Mathabatha says the unity of the party is sacrosanct into building a stronger ANC beyond the conference. The Special PGC has been convened ahead of the 55th ANC elective conference to be held in Nasrec from the 16th to the 20th of December.
