- It is now official that the infamous striking off from the roll of Advocates against
Malesela Daniel Teffo as announced in the Judgment delivered on the 16th of
September 2022 by Justices Bokako AJ and Nyathi J before Pretoria High
Court is suspended pending the ruling of the variation application brought by
Malesela Daniel Teffo, on the 1st of November 2022 for varying. - The Consensus and/or Resolution to suspend the implementation of the said
Judgment and/or Curatorship order against Advocate Malesela Daniel Teffo,
was reached during the third and final meeting held between Estelle Veldsman,
the Legal Practice Council Manageress of Risk & Compliance Department and
Advocate Malesela Daniel Teffo, on the 7th of December 2022 at Legal Practice
Council Offices, 2nd Floor, Protea Towers, 214 Pretorius Street, Pretoria
Central, Pretoria. - Therefore, Advocate Malesela Daniel Teffo will continue with his practice as the
Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, until Madam Justice Bokako AJ has
varied her judgment and/or Court order under case number:10991/2021. - The Consensus and/or Resolution was informed by the following compelling
circumstances, namely: –
4.1. It is common cause that no person/s came to the Legal Practice Council
offices in Pretoria and/or any province in the Republic reported any kind of
misconduct against Advocate Malesela Daniel Teffo as the legal practitioner
and the member of the LPC in good-standing;
4.2. It is further common cause that Advocate Malesela Daniel Teffo was never
the subject of investigation by the Legal Practice Council for any alleged
misconduct reported against him, as the member of the Council in goodstanding;
4.3. Therefore, in light of paragraphs 4.1 and 4.2 above, Advocate Malesela
Daniel Teffo was never subjected to the disciplinary tribunal of the Legal
Practice Council for any reason, whatsoever.
