BOXING IS ALIVE AND ON THE RIGHT TRACK IN LIMPOPO

LUTENDO LIVHEBE – MUDAU The Limpopo champs promotion has staged an international boxing tournament to raise awareness and fight scourge of gender based violence. The historic tournament was held at Ngoako Ramathlodi sports complex in Seshego outside Polokwane on Friday night. In the main bout,Jeff “911” Magagane lost his national featherweight championship when he was defeated by Zolisa Batyi. Magagane who was making his defense of the title for the first time was beaten by KO,in the second round. Tshifhiwa “Spider “ Munyai win by TKO in the third round against Malawian Crispin Moliati. It was Munyai first fight after losing his national lightweight championship by controversial points decision to Lusanda Komanisi about a month ago.
