Traffic congestions on the R36 between Tzaneen and Burgersdorp, as well as the R37 in the Burgersfort areas in Limpopo are receiving the attention of authorities.
The traffic congestion is caused by the rehabilitation of both roads by the South African Roads Agency. Relevant government entities are engaging on the matter in order to ensure improved management of traffic flow and construction work.
Motorists are urged to exercise patience as the matter is being attended to.
The Department of Transport and Community Safety will continue to deploy traffic law enforcement officers at these areas during peak traffic periods to ease congestion while the matter is being adressed.
