POLICE SEARCH FOR A 36 YEAR-OLD MALE VICTIM WHO WENT MISSING WHILE AT A CLINIC IN POLOKWANE POLICING AREA

POLOKWANE: The South African Police Service in Polokwane are searching for a 36 year-old male victim who went missing while at a clinic in Polokwane policing area on Friday 27 February 2026.

The victim, Phanuel Mkhabela a resident at Cork village, Mpumalanga province and was allegedly admitted for nine months (09) at a Rehabilitation Centre in Polokwane. His term at the Centre was concluded but was waiting for his family to collect him.

The victim was taken to Rethabile Clinic to get medication but unexpectedly disappeared while at the medical facility.

Attempts to search Mkhabela at the relatives and surrounding areas were made but did not bear any fruits.

The victim was allegedly wearing a white overall with a reflector at the time of his disappearance.
