WATERBURG DISTRICT POLICE NABBED FIVE SUSPECTS FOR POSSESSION OF SUSPECTED STOLEN PROPERTY AND DRUGS
POLOKWANE The members of Waterburg district have made a significant breakthrough operation, arresting five male suspects aged between 19 and 41 in various locations for possession of drugs.
The Vila Nora vispol police acted on information provided about a person who allegedly deals in dagga in Shongoane 2, Mmatladi section Vila Nora. The suspect was identified at a certain household which led his house to be searched. During the search operation, 139 sachets of dagga were confiscated, and the suspect was placed under arrest.
In another incident, a tactical operation comprising of Thabazimbi detectives, Vispol, and Thabazimbi Rural safety led to the arrest of two foreign male suspects for possession of suspected stolen property in Thabazimbi town and Regorogile location.
The suspects were linked to a business robbery that occurred at Eskom Technical office Makarele, where copper cable was robbed with an estimated street value of R600 000,00. The operational members proceeded to Mahwelereng, Makobe village, where two male suspects were arrested, and 27 sachets of crystal meth with an estimated street value of R1350 was confiscated.
The arrested suspects will appear in various courts within Waterburg district.
