SAPS MALEBOHO NABED 34-YEAR-OLD MALE SUSPECT FOR MURDER OF 17-YEAR-OLD AT MY-DARLING VILLAGE
POLOKWANE The Police in Maleboho,Capricorn district, have arrested a 34-year-old male suspect for murder of 17-year-old victim at My Darling village on Tuesday, 16 December 2025 at around 16:00.
The Police received a complaint of inquest of a young man who passed away at his home. On their arrival, the victim had minor injuries on his forehead, and a case of inquest was registered for further investigation
The intensive investigation lead to inquest case docket changing to murder.
The preliminary investigation revealed that between Friday 12 and Saturday,13, the deceased uncle (the suspect) came home from Gauteng province to attend a funeral. After the funeral late at night, the suspect was allegedly seen dragging the victim with his vehicle.
The victim was apparently accused of stealing around his household. After assaulting the victim, the suspect left for Gauteng Province without taking the victim to the hospital for medical treatment
The suspect was arrested on Friday, 19 December 2025, soon after his arrival at My Darling Village. He will appear before Senwabarwana Magistrate’s Court on Monday 22 December 2025 for murder charge.
