MAN APPEARS IN COURT FOR MURDER AND ATTEMPTED MURDER IN DZANANI
Limpopo, Dzanani: A 47-year-old man, Emmanuel Tendani Tshamano Rantete, appeared before the Dzanani Magistrate’s Court following the brutal murder of his girlfriend, Pandelani Sylvia (47), and an attempted murder charge relating to the stabbing of her 16-year-old daughter.
It is alleged that during the early hours of Monday, 03 November 2025, police responded to a complaint in which the deceased was reportedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend. Her daughter was also attacked when she tried to intervene. Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered the deceased lying in a pool of blood. The daughter sustained stab wounds and was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
The accused was arrested the following day at a local shopping centre. He has since abandoned his bail application and was remanded in custody until 29 January 2026 for further investigations.
