A SUSPECT OF KIDNAPPING AND HOUSE ROBBERY ARRESTED, MANHUNT UNDERWAY FOR POSSIBLE SUSPECTS
POLOKWANE A 47-year-old male suspect has appeared before Ritavi Magistrate’s Court today Tuesday, 16 September 2025 on charges of kidnapping. His case was rescheduled again at Maake Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 17 September 2025 facing charges of house robbery at Burgerdorp village in Maake.
During the early hours of Saturday, 05 September 2025, five armed suspects stormed into a house at Burgersdorp village in Maake and robbed a victim on gunpoint an undisclosed amount of money, Toyota Hilux bakkie and five cellphones.
Following a well-coordinated and intelligence-led operation by the Mopani Tracking Team and Maake Detectives, the 47 year old suspect was apprehended on Monday, 15 September 2025.
The suspect will appear on Wednesday, 17 September 2025, for a house robbery at Maake.
Meanwhile, a massive manhunt of the remaining suspects is underway.
