THE PROVINCIAL COMMISSIONER OF POLICE IN LIMPOPO CONDEMNS THE SENSELESS KILLINGS OF THE NEWLY BORN BABY IN SESHEGO
POLOKWANE: The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has vehemently condemned the brutal murder of a newly born baby and the subsequent burning of his /her body .The lifeless body was found burned beyond recognition at Mashobohleng village , Moletjie .
The police in Seshego under Capricorn District were called to the scene of murder at Moletji, Mashobohleng village on Friday September 2025 at about 15:45.
On their arrival they found a small baby estimated to be two weeks old who was found by a community member next to a local school in the bushes burnt beyond recognition.
The motive of the incident is unknown at this stage.
” The recent incidents of leaving newly born babies , alive or deceased is becoming a serious problem in the Province .If you give birth to a child and you realize you don’t need to keep him /her, its advisable to approach the Department of Social Development for advise on adoption as the option than killing innocent blood “
