RITAVI POLICE INVESTIGATE MYSTERIOUS MURDER OF A 30 YEAR-OLD FEMALE VICTIM AFTER FOUND DEAD NEXT TO A LOCAL LIQUOR STORE
POLOKWANE: The Ritavi police under Mopani District are investigating the mysterious murder of a 30 year-old female victim who was found dead at Dan Extension, Bindzulani next to a local liquor store on Tuesday 13 May 2025 at about 11:11.
Police were on patrol duties when they received a report of murder incident in the area and rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, found a male who pointed out a lifeless body of a woman lying on the ground with a stab wound on the neck.
The members of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were summoned at the scene and certified the woman dead upon their arrival.
The deceased was positively identified by her husband as Shelmah Malesa, a resident at Dan Extension.
The motive of the incident is unknown at this stage and police request anyone with information that can assist to contact the Investigating Officer Warrant Officer Ronny Baloyi on 0823199699 or crime stop number 0860010111 or nearest police station or MySAPSApp.
