TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR STOCK THEFT IN SENWABARWANA REMANDED IN CUSTODY

POLOKWANE Two male suspects, Bethuel Komane (27) and Jacob Mabjana (30) appeared before the Senwabarwana Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 19 August 2024, facing charges of stock theft. The court remanded them in custody until August 28 for a formal bail application and further police investigation.

The suspects were arrested on Thursday night, 15 August, at Maupye Village under the Matlala policing area, after stealing goats from Dilaeneng village in the Senwabarwana policing area. Approximately 150 goats were stolen, but police recovered 33, which were returned to their rightful owner.

The arrest followed a tip-off, leading to a tactical operation by Senwabarwana police.

Investigations are ongoing.
