SUSPECTS NABBED IN ROSSENEKAL FOR STOCK THEFT

POLOKWANE: Three male suspects aged between 27 and 30 were arrested for stock theft on Wednesday, 14 August 2024 at around 15:25, at Rossenekal and Stoffberg road.

The members were on operation when the suspects were found transporting nineteen (19) goats with Nissan NP300 while on their way to an auction.

Preliminary investigations revealed the goats were stolen at Rakgoadi policing area. The owner was notified, and the goats were identified through a brandmark.

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has welcomed the arrest.

They suspects will soon appear before the local Magistrate’s Court facing possession of suspected stolen properties (live stock).

Police investigations are still continuing.
